This is a very rare double walled Model 730 True Tone clarinet in amazing shape. When I found this I was really surprised on the condition until I turned the bell around and saw the USMC engraving. I have other military band instruments and they were all taken care of really well. Even what looks like tarnish between the keys is some type of preservative that wipes right off. I have a military band Conn Chu Berry Alto sax that looked absolutely terribly tarnished and dirty until I took a damp cloth and wiped the stuff off. It was nearly perfect underneath.The silver plating is just about perfect as are the key action and springs. I would take this apart clean it thoroughly as I just wiped the preservative off of it. I just wiped it down with a damp cloth and soft afterwards and you can see the results. You will need to replace a few pads as some of them look oversized and a few are worn and loose. Comes with the original case and a Babbit mouthpiece marked Student.I am always open for offers but be reasonable given how rare and good shape this is in as I am debating to sending this to my tech to go through it and then just keeping it as you just don't come across these anymore.
